Ian Pierce, Chairman

Ian Pierce, a 'chartered accountant by birth', qualified in 1986 and gleaned extensive local and global experience at Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte & Touche. He set up practice in South Africa in 1991 and today specialises in restructuring and privatisation, audits, due diligence reviews, transactions and widespread corporate consulting.

Safeea Rahiman, Audit Partner

Safeea Rahiman, having qualified in 1996, brings to her position wide-ranging experience gained at KMMT Brey Inc. and Afritel Cellular Systems. In 1999 Safeea joined RAiN as a partner, specialising in audits, due diligence assignments, financial management systems, JSE listings, advisory and regulatory services, and staff training/development.

Mauritz Trollip, Associate Partner

Mauritz has been a RAiNmaker all along, having completed his articles at RAiN Chartered Accountants. Responsible for managing both senior and junior staff, he is involved in the Information Technology used during audits and has vast experience in various audit environments including public sector, information technology and treasury audits.
